Frequently asked questions

What counts as an innovative business in Spain?

ENISA looks for a technology, product or business model that adds something new and can grow. A standard café or consultancy usually won't qualify.

I run a business in Australia. Can I move it to Spain?

Possibly. If you can keep running it remotely, the Digital Nomad Visa might be simpler. If you want to build something new in Spain, the entrepreneur route fits.

My employer is transferring me to its Spanish office. Is that covered?

Yes — intra-company transfers are a separate fast-track route under the same law, usually handled with your employer's HR team.
